The project is located in Ciudad Delicias 75 km southeast of the city of Chihuahua. This modern minimalist house was built in the desert areas with extreme weather which is very hot in summer and very cold in winter. Home area is divided into three rooms, two of which are for the social room and private rooms. The ground floor contains the bedrooms and a shared dining room area with a wood ladder attached to the wall that connects the ground floor with upper floor. This unique split-house shows the different approach of a modern construction. Built in a historic neighborhood, this project should be perfectly integrated in its environment. Situated in Philadelphia, the Split-Level House comes from Qb, an architecture studio which also deals with design. The main materials used in order to complete the construction and to give it an inviting look were polished concrete, wood and steel.
